Saturday was a busy day as we had run out of ducks and have had to wait for the order to come in. We went and picked them up on Saturday afternoon and also got a few wicker dragonflies as well.
Sunday dawned bright and sunny - the drought had come back! We had a short trip to Bromsgrove to the Stoke Heath parish fete. Really nice event with lots of tradional stalls and ring events - even ferret racing! We had a steady stream of customers all day and sold a wide range of products including the dried fruit decorations. The new lavender hearts and padded gingham hearts went very well so we are going to put them on the website for the wider public to enjoy and just as well we had re-stocked with the ducks.
We are now looking forward to next weekends two day vintage gathering at Bidford on Avon. Just hope it stays next to the river and not in the river! Another gazebo event and I'm glad we do more of these as there is much greater footfall than at craft fairs. Fingers crossed that it stays dry.
